NORDSTAR data
NORDSTAR consists a multinational, population-based, asthma data set spanning ~50 million person-years of follow-up. It is not composed of a sample of patients. It includes all asthma patients in four countries, larger than other comparable data.
Each Nordic country maintains nationwide administrative and medical registries, which are uniquely suited for creating population-based datasets.
Similarities in the content and reporting into the Nordic registries allow unique opportunities and interpretation of results between countries.
