NORdic Dataset for aSThmA Research (NORDSTAR)
– a Nordic research collaboration platform

NORDSTAR is a unique severe asthma research initiative between Nordic key opinion leaders on asthma from the Nordic Severe Asthma Network, data analytic experts from Quantify and the pharmaceutical industry -Sanofi, AstraZeneca and GSK. 

NORDSTAR consists of a multinational population-based asthma data set spanning ~50 million person-years of follow-up. NORDSTAR includes all asthma patients in four countries.

The ambition of NORDSTAR is to generate real-world evidence on severe asthma and thereby improving everyday lives of asthma patients.
